I would like to be able to say that my musical journey was exciting, filled with stories of struggle, touring, parties and teenage bands but unfortunately for me that was not the case. Mine was a story of fantasizing what could be but never really taking concrete steps towards making it a reality. My music was always in the background. Priorities were my family and still are but now in 2023, age 77, I find a desire to share some of my music.
The first reality that I have to face is that I am only a mediocre musician, never pressured and tested on stage but merely toiling sporadically, self-taught, in my sparse basement studio. Sixty years later, I find that I have binders full of snippets of lyrics and musical ideas which I decided to complete, record and share. At this point, I acknowledge that it is mostly for myself, a bucket list item, that may never reach a wide audience since I do not have a band or tour and am very nervous anytime I performed live.

I am working hard and my technical skills are improving, my knowledge is expanding, my confidence is slowly growing. My musical tastes are varied but are heavily influenced by Rock and Roll, Blues and Folk. My early inspirations were Chuck Berry, Buddy Holly, Wilson Pickett, Motown, the fabulous Doo Wop groups, the Stones, CCR and other similar musicians.
